Our School Manager, Nathan Summers, is really a facilitator. His responsibilities do not extend to creation or implementation of the academic program, and other duties commonly associated with the role of a principal.

Instead, he provides the various committees and the Board of Directors with technical information they need to make decisions, and he helps implement decisions which have been made by the Board.

The School Manager is also responsible for support services such as publicity, purchasing, internal and external communication, upkeep of student records, management of finances, management of the facility – as well as applying bandaids to skinned knees.

He is here to keep all of these many and varied elements – the machinery of The Antioch School – coordinated and running smoothly as a whole.
