Make a Legacy Contribution
Invest in the Future of the Antioch School
For more than 100 years, the Antioch School has provided a unique, child-centered education rooted in creativity, freedom, and respect. Legacy gifts help ensure this mission continues — not just for today’s students, but for generations to come.
By including the Antioch School in your long-term giving plans, you become part of a circle of supporters who care deeply about preserving progressive education and protecting the natural spaces where our students learn and grow.
A Gift that Preserved the Land and the Learning
One recent legacy-level gift made an extraordinary impact: it allowed the school to acquire an additional 6-acre parcel of land adjacent to the campus. This land was at risk of being sold, which would have permanently altered the school’s learning environment.
Instead, thanks to this generous gift, the Antioch School was able to preserve vital outdoor classroom space and green areas, securing them for future generations of students. This land continues to be a place where children explore, play, and learn from the natural world.
“Peggy was someone who poured so much of her life into this school as a former school manager, a mentor, and a deeply loved member of our community. Her legacy gift was the spark that made it possible for us to protect our outdoor classrooms from outside development and preserve the land as learning space for generations of Antioch School children. Every time we see kids building forts or watching the seasons change out there, we’re reminded of her generosity.”
— Chris Westhoff, Development Coordinator, The Antioch School
A Tradition of Resilience
Other legacy gifts have helped the school weather difficult financial times, such as the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. These gifts provided essential stability, allowing the school to continue offering a consistent, nurturing experience to students during times of uncertainty.
Over its century-long history, the Antioch School has thrived because of supporters like you — people who understand the value of preparing children to be curious, capable, and compassionate citizens.
By making a legacy gift, you help ensure that the Antioch School will continue to serve children for the next 100 years and beyond.
Your contribution can be structured in a number of ways, including:

- A gift from a donor-advised fund
- Other planned giving vehicles that fit your goals and circumstances
“I made a legacy gift to the Antioch School because I believe the world needs more spaces where children are free to grow into themselves. This school has shaped generations, and I wanted to help ensure it always will.”
